Weekly Post

We finished up the last back-to-school date and shopping trip with Cole this week. Ethan starts on Thursday and Cole and Liv start on the 6th.

Got a cool picture of Liv from a photographer at the gym the other night.

Checked out old fashion drive-in ice cream shop.  We had amazing sundae's on a beautiful summer evening.

We hosted a Gymnastics Swim Party.  These girls are crazy and loud, but we love them!

Cole and his buddy crashed the party!

Costco Grocery trip for a High Adventure Biking Trip I was in charge of.  Shawn and Cole were my helpers!

Liv got new bedding. She has been planning this for a long time and was very excited!  She literally sat by the door all day waiting for the UPS truck to arrive.  The bedding is cool, it zips up on the side so it is really easy to make your bed in the morning :)

Took the kids and some friends to a local pool one afternoon.

Ethan went to the High School football game Friday night and I took Cole and Liv to the movies and saw Pete's Dragon.  We also checked out a new restaurant, Portillo's and had a fun night out for dinner.

Another soccer tournament this weekend for Ethan.  They lost in the championship game. Oliver got to come with us also :)

We had our annual back to school dinner Sunday night.  We had grilled chicken, roasted asparagus, twice baked potatoes and fruit kabobs with a pineapple strawberry mojito.

Here are the kids with our annual theme start.  Out theme this year was taken from Pres. Monson's talk Dare to Stand Alone.

Cole and Liv had their last tennis class this week.  They had fun, but are glad its over!

Liv worked hard at the gym this week.  She had a private bar session with one of her coaches.  I caught a little video of her working on "Giants".  You can't see it great, but she is the girl in the back of the gym flipping around the bar.

We've had a lot of fun watching Olympics.  We even watched on both the TV and the laptops for the ones not broadcasted!

Lots of swimming before the pool closes in a few weeks.

The blur in the picture below is Ethan flying over the volleyball net.  Another one of his great ideas!

Ethan's team took 1st place this weekend at their soccer tournament.

The championship game ended in a shoot out.

Cole wrested with his friend during the soccer games

Ethan and his buddies enjoyed 7-11 slushy day!

We had a campfire the other night with some of the kids friends.  It was a little windy and there may have been some fuel involved which made for a fun night!

I had early morning Sunday meetings and Shawn was working so the kids got to chill out with their electronics at church (which they are never allowed to do) so they thought it was great!

Took Ethan out on his back to school date.  This was the best picture we could get...he hates pictures!

Nightly walks with the dog involve the kids cruising on their bikes or long boards.

Weekly Post

Soccer season has officially started.  That means I basically spend all afternoon and evening dropping and picking everyone up from practice.

Ethan customized and built his first long board.  He was beyond excited about this (even though he isn't smiling in the picture)

Gymnastics competition season also starts this month.  Liv's hands are proof.  They are both ripped and bleeding every day after practice.

Another amazing Wisconsin summer sky!

State Fair Fun

This ride made me laugh.  The picture progression will explain why.  It starts out fun and then not so much fun, specifically for Cole :)

They survived and we moved on to the the animals, games, and fair food!

Liv and I went on our back-to-school date and got some new school clothes!

Driving home late from the pool one night and Ethan had his longboard.
So he hung on as I drove home.

First meet of the season for Liv was this weekend.  She did a great job!

Boys spent the time being bored :)
