Indoor Game

Tonight Cole had his first indoor soccer game.  He was crazy and had a lot of fun.  It actually brought back a lot of fun soccer memories playing indoor.  Shawn and I played together on an indoor tournament over a Thanksgiving before we even started dating.  Maybe we will have to play again together, it was lots of fun.

Conference Weekend

We had a beautiful Conference Weekend relaxing and enjoying the wonderful fall weather.  

11 years

On Friday we celebrated 11 years of marriage.  What an amazing ride it's been.  Can't wait to see what the future holds in store for us!

Dancing

Liv started dancing again this week.  I just can't help taking pictures of her looking so cute.

Friday Night

After Cole's soccer practice Friday night we took the kids swimming at a new YMCA that has a big tube slide and lazy river.  It ended up being kind of a bummer because Ethan was the only one tall enough to go on the slide, excluding Shawn and I, but the kids still had fun.  They had a fun kid area and lap pool.  We swam for a couple hours and then Liv was freezing so we spent some time warming up in the sauna.  Wow, those things get hot.  After showering and changing we stopped by the rock wall on the way out.  Ethan zipped right up to the top, but Cole was a little more hesitant and only made it up half way before climbing back down.  I was able to snap a few pictures with my phone.

Then we hit up Culver's on the way home for butter burgers, fried cheese curds, and pumpkin pie concretes :)

Flips and Dives

Ethan has been on the swim team for three weeks now.  He is loving it.  Last night he learned how to dive off the starting blocks and do the flip turns when you reach the end of the lane.  Here are a few clips of him at practice.  I recorded these at the end of his hour long practice.  Swimming for 1 hour straight makes him so tired, but he did a great job.

Hot Tub Party

We had an end of summer party with the kids this past weekend.  After having a few cold days (lows in the 40s) we had nice weather for the weekend.  It made me realize that another Wisconsin winter is just around the corner so we celebrated our nice weekend temps in the 70s with a fall Hot Tub Party.

It was a perfect night!
