San Fransisco

We spent the past weekend in San Fransisco.  Our big touristy thing was to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge.  We started out riding on the national park bike path through the Presidio and then over the bridge.  It was crowded on the bridge!  After that we biked down into Sausalito and then took a ferry back to the Pier and rode through the rest of San Fransisco.

We spent lots of time swimming and enjoying the hotel pool and hot tub also!

Indiana

We spent the weekend in Indiana.  It's a little over a 4 hour drive for us, so it wasn't too bad.

We went to the new Indiana LDS Temple Open house on Saturday afternoon.  It was a beautiful experience being in the temple as a family.  It was fun being with Liv in the brides room and talking to her about coming here someday when she is a bride.  I also really liked being in the sealing room with my family.  Sharing with the kids that Shawn and I got married in a room similar and someday they can share in this experience also.

We spent time eating, especially lots of ice cream, and swimming.

Swimming

The weather this week has been amazing.  We've enjoyed lots of swimming at the pool.

Wednesday night Cole hosted a fun scout party at the pool and Thursday night we attended a family swim party for Liv's Gymnastics.

The boys also started golf lessons this week.  I wasn't sure what they would think, but they actually really liked it.  Cole asked if he could go buy a special "golf outfit".

So far this week...

Ethan made it back from camp safe and sound.

Cole and Liv went to a water party at our church last weekend before Ethan got home.

The boys started soccer camp bright and early Monday morning.

Cole and Ethan also had orthodontist appointments this week.
Cole was measured and molded for his expander.

Ethan finally has braces.  He is so excited and honestly, it's been pretty painless and easy.

One last picture of the beautiful summer sky from my front porch!

A week of camps

Cole finished up Scout Day Camp.  He actually ended up having a great time and loved it.

He also survived his first football camp.  He is by far the smallest kid out there, but he is loving it.

Liv started tennis camp this week also, and did really well her first day.  Thanks to gymnastics she is really strong and can actually hit the ball pretty good!

Wednesday night Liv and I spent the night at the Zoo for her annual gymnastics team outing.

Ethan is still away at Scout Camp and we are totally missing him around here.
Only a few more days and he will be home!

This week so far..

We had a really warm weekend.  The kids spent many hours swimming!

This morning we sent Ethan off for his very first week long Scout Camp.  He left at 6am.  He was excited!  I am a little nervous :(  He has never been away from home for this long!

Cole also has Scout Day Camp this week, so he got up and left early also.  He is not very excited, but I'm making him go anyway :)

It is going to be a crazy day for Cole as he gets home from Scout Day Camp at 4, and has Football Camp from 5-8.  He is going to be exhausted by the end of this week!  But he is excited for football, and for his new football cleats.
