Ethan turned 12 yesterday.  It was a big day around our house.

We had Ethan's special chocolate chip and butterscotch pancakes with bacon for breakfast.
Ethan opened gifts.  He got some clothes and new shoes.  Cole and Liv gave him a new baseball mitt, which he has been wanting so bad.  The big gift this year was a cell phone.  We thought about this ALOT.  This is a big step, but in the end we felt good about getting him a phone.  He has been so responsible so far, and in all honestly it will be much easier for me if he has a phone :)

I took donuts to Ethan's class at school.  After school Ethan had his 12 year doctor appointment and then soccer practice until 7:30.  I brought pizza for all his soccer team after practice.  They kids had fun eating pizza and then played some basketball before we had to head home.

For Ethan's birthday cake all he wanted was cheesecake.  He LOVES cheesecake.  I picked up 5 different kinds of cheesecake from The Cheesecake factory earlier in the day and we enjoyed that before bed.
