Weekly Post

For some reason the kids get really into playing games and doing puzzles around the holidays.  We are already on our 2nd puzzle and the kids had fun the other night playing dominos.

Wednesday night was the Young Women's in Excellence program that I was in charge of.
It was a lot of work, but so fun.

Shawn and I have been changing things up a bit with our exercise routines.  We started going to Orange Theory together.  We call it our "date night".  It's a lot of fun, but about kills us.  Shawn burns almost 1000 calories in one work out.

I also started taking tennis lessons with some friends.  I've always wanted to learn how to play tennis, so I decided now was a good time.  It's been fun so far!

The highlight of the week was this weekend.  We headed to Madison for the Wisconsin State Gymnastics Meet.  Liv had a great meet and was able to come home with the All Around State Champion Award for her age group.  This is her second year in a row as the all around champ, and we are so proud! On individual events she took 1st on floor and beam, 2nd on bars and 4th on vault.

Here is her floor routine.  She scored 9.525.

We went out to lunch after at the Great Dane Pub, a popular restaurant in Madison.

We did lots of swimming!

As a team we took 4th place over all!

Oliver is doing good.  He spent the weekend at Doggy Camp.  He LOVED it!  Upon returning home he has already attend three bulbs off the christmas tree, half a poinsettia plant, and tried to attack and take down Santa (Shawn's 3 foot Santa decoration).   I may just send him back to Doggy Day Camp :(

For some odd reason Ethan was fascinated with my shoes during church yesterday.  He kept trying them on!  I told him this picture was so that I could black mail him later in life :)
