Weekly Post

We started out the week with Liv almost starting the house on fire.  Seriously!  Don't microwave mac and cheese cups without water.  Smoke was billowing out of the microwave and filling the kitchen.  

School Updates:
Liv started a book club in her class.  She is reading Superfudge by Judy Blume.

Cole went on a field trip to downtown Milwaukee and saw the play Holes.

Ethan spends most of his time texting, including lots of girls.  We actually had to have a sit down talk with him about it :)

Shawn and I went golfing.  I found a fun indoor golf place that lets you golf with simulators.  It was my first time golfing.  Let's just say I didn't do so awesome :(

I played in a Volleyball game Wednesday night for Young Women's and I got a new tennis racquet for my class.  We've spent a lot of time in the basement playing tennis as a family.  We've had a few mishaps, including shattering a light!  

Cole had snowboard lessons this week.  He is doing better and hopefully soon will be done with lessons and able to ski with Ethan.

Cole also had two basketball games on Saturday.  He scored several points and had lots of steals.

Ethan had futsal for a few hours Saturday morning.

Friday night was pretty quiet.  Shawn was working 24 hours and the kids and I had a nice night watching movies and eating popcorn.

Liv has been dying to get up some Valentines decorations, so she worked on that this week.

We went to the Blaze pizza place for dinner Saturday night.  It's like subway, but for pizza.

We stopped at Best Buy after dinner.  This is where I found the boys!

Then we headed to play Laser Tag as as family late Saturday night.  This place is a little different in that you actually have missions to accomplish during the game.  It was fun!  We played a few arcade games that night also.
