Birthday Celebration

We started off Ethan's birthday bright and early at a school Fundraiser at the Zoo.  It was a 1 mile fun run.  Both Ethan and Cole signed up, but somehow I ended up running it with Cole, while Liv and Shawn waited at the finish line.  I was so proud of both Ethan and Cole.  Ethan ran really fast and finished as one of the top of the Elementary kids his age, and Cole really didn't want to do it, but he ran as fast as he could and endured it to the end.  We spent the rest of the morning at the Zoo checking out all the animals.

 
Next, Ethan got to choose where we went for lunch and he choose Five Guys.  So we had burgers and fries for lunch.  We got home and then Ethan opened his presents which included a new golf set, golf balls, and a new Packers jersey.  So Shawn and Ethan decided to go golfing and test out Ethan's new stuff.  They spent the afternoon at golfing and then we had a birthday dinner party in the evening.  It was a fun day!

Last we had Lightsaber Cake.  Ethan is pretty obsessed right now with Star Wars, so this was the requested cake.
