Cub Scouts

Ethan is officially a cub scout.  When he turned 8 we took him to the scout store to get his uniform and book.  You would have thought it was christmas with how excited he was about the scout store.  He went this week to his first scout meeting.  In Ethan's mind scouts is about camping, making fires, and shooting bow and arrows, so he wasn't sure what to think when his first scouting activity was a service project pulling weeds.  But he had a good attitude and worked hard.  He even came home with is first scouting fundraiser of selling popcorn.  (grandparents be expecting a call from Ethan wanting to know if you want any popcorn).  It is so fun to watch my kids grow and reach certain milestones.  Scouting was definetly an exciting milestone around our house.
