Last Days in Utah

We ended our Utah trip with a fun night out in Park City with NO kids.  This was a first for Shawn and I since having kids.  We went to Park City with my sister and her husband.

We started out having dinner at Cafe Terigo on main street.  It was wonderful.  I had a salmon dish, while Shawn had scallops.

Following this we went to our hotel, The Stein Erickson Lodge.  We had an amazing suite (thanks to Kev) overlooking the ski resort and it even had a hot tub on the balcony.

After this we went over to the hotel restaraunt for desseret. We ate out on the balcony overlooking the beautiful resort. Shawn and I shared a lime coconut desseret with carmelized puff pastry, coconut cream, key lime curd, and coconut sorbet.  Jam and Kev had a passion fruit dessert with passion fruit cream, fresh raspberries, chocolate pop rocks, flourless chocolate cake and passion fruit sorbet.  Dessert was as good as it sounded.

After desseret we went back to the hotel and got in the hot tub.  Jam and I had a little fun in the bathroom while getting ready. 

 We all enjoyed the expensive white hotel robes.

After hot tubing we watched Catching Fire, the Hunger Games movie and then went to bed.

The next day we got up, after sleeping in, ate a delcious breakfast at the Glitertind Restaurant.  Shawn had the Norwegian Potato and Bacon Pancake with two poaches eggs, Jarlsberg cheese sauce and cranberries.  I had a Ham and Egg sandwich with Kurobuta ham, Emmenthaler cheese, creamed Dijon mustard, served with hierloom tomatoes and cucmber relsih.

Then we went shopping!!

And then we came home :(

Saturday afternoon my mom took the kids school shopping for a new outfit, Shawn's parents took us to dinner at Texas Roadhouse, we visited my dad and his wife and jumped on the tramp with milo (the dog), and then finished the night with a pedicure.  We got up Sunday and flew back to Milwaukee.

It was a wonderful and exhausting trip.  We miss everyone already!
