First, I officially am done working. Last weekend was my last week at work. It was definitely the right choice, but it was hard leaving. I met so many wonderful people and made some great friends. I was sad to leave, but glad to get more time with my family.
Second, I got released from my church calling in the Primary Presidency, where I have served for the past two years. It was a hard, but rewarding calling and I loved getting to spend time with my kids. Here I am with the other gals in my Presidency on our last Sunday. We had so much fun, I am going to miss them.
We have also signed a new lease for a place to live for the next year. Our landlord had already rented out the home we currently live in, thinking that were were moving to Phoenix, and when our plans changed she had already signed the lease with new renters. So we are stuck moving. Shawn and I have always wanted to build a house together, but we aren't exactly sure where. We have looked at countless areas and love the possibilities here in Wisconsin. We just haven't figured out exactly what we what yet, so we decided we needed to rent for one more year, keep the kids in the same school and neighborhood, until we know exactly where to move. So, we found a duplex across the street and down a few houses. DUPLEX....yes, that means we are downsizing in a major way. It will be an adventure, but the change will be fun. We are moving the end of this month.
