We spent some time at the park yesterday. The kids have "summer exercise plans". It's like summer boot camp for kids. So far it's been fun, and we pretty much just play most of the time. The boys involve some dribble and shooting drills so we usually end up at the park. Yesterday I was there with my little "Messi" and "Donovan" wannabes.

Then it started raining so we had to run home. We had some pretty intense storms come through last night. We lost power for about 8 hours. The kids couldn't figure out what to do without the TV and their iPods. We couldn't really go outside because of the crazy storms. We tried a few games in the dark...
The kids also tired a little Sumo Wrestling and I took a shower in the dark with a flashlight :)
The power went on at about 2am and of course every light in the house flipped on and woke everyone up. It was a long hot night without the air conditioning (fortunately for Shawn he was working at the hospital and didn't have to suffer trying to sleep without air.
