We survived our Disneyland Day. We got up at 0500 and headed up to to Disney for the day. The weather was PERFECT. It was overcast and around 75 degrees all morning. Despite it being Disney's 57th birthday the morning wasn't even that crowded. We walked on and off the first 5 rides (indiana jones, pirates of the carribean, haunted mansion, splash mountain, and big thunder railroad) without any wait time. The afternoon was a different story and we ended up waiting for 4 hours for the new cars ride. The ride broke down twice and it made for a LONG afternoon. But, the ride was great and then we were able to ride a bunch more rides for the rest of the night until the sun went down. We got tired pretty quick at the end of the night so we headed home a little earlier than we anticipated, but it ended up being good because four lanes of traffic were blocked on the freeway. No camera for this disney trip, infact I didn't even have a bag or purse and it was wonderful. The whole day went pretty smooth, despite Cole having to pee behind a garbage can in a water bottle while stuck in line for 4 hours. Here are a few iPhone pictures.
The kids each chose a Disney pillow pet for their souvenir to take home. They haven't let them out of their sight since getting home.
