U.S.S. Midway and other stuff

Despite being out late the night before at Disney, we got up early and went to the roof of our condo for a nice sunrise.

We set out shortly after that to tour the U.S.S. Midway, a Naval Aircraft carrier.

The kids participated in the Junior Pilot program.  They were able to received their wings at the end of the tour.  They had to give a salute and handshake after passing a test and answering some questions.

After the tour we went to get some lunch at Seaport Village.  We walked around and watched all the boats and enjoyed the nice coastal breeze.

Later that day we went to dinner with Shawn's family at Joe's Crab Shack on the beach.  We feasted on crab legs, mussels, scallops, and coconut shrimp.  It was wonderful!  We walked back down the pier to our condo and let the kids play in the sand and waves.

And then the sun set and we still played in the sand and waves.

We played until it was too dark to see anymore.
